Empowerment Activities

Empowerment activities are designed to equip girls with essential skills, knowledge, and experiences, ultimately encouraging them to create meaningful change aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The project offers a series of dynamic empowerment activities, including Project-Based Learning (PBL) Workshops, the Summer Power Camp, and the Annual Project Presentation.

Workshops

Engaging workshops where fellows enhanced their project execution, shared cultural experiences, and developed presentation and cross-cultural communication skills through collaboration and peer feedback.

Power Camp

The Asian Girls Power Camp is an annual summer event where girls from across Asia gather to network, learn and discuss SDGs-related issues.

Annual Presentation

To conclude the yearly Asian Girls in Action Project, a final online presentation for all participants takes place in October: girls have the opportunity to reflect on their inspiring journeys and discuss the impact they have had within their communities. At the end, three girls are nominated as Annual SDG projects, for which extra funding is made available.
