[2024 Power Camp Recap of Asian Girls in Action Project 2024]
This summer, the 10 fellows of the 2024 Asian Girls in Action Project embarked on a life-changing journey in Taiwan! From attending inspiring cultural and empowerment events, such as presenting their projects to Taiwan MOFA officials, to captivating sexuality education workshop at Aher Gender and Sexuality Educational Center, including touring around Taipei’s oldest district, Dadaocheng, the fellows obtained a variety of memorable experiences. Not only that, but the fellows also engaged in multiple activities with students from Sheng Kung Girls’ High School in Tainan, together they successfully complete the Project-Based Learning (#PBL) Workshop! Additionally, the fellows had the opportunity to learn and understand each other’s culture through fashion, food, and more during a customized cross-cultural exchange workshop. Along this journey, the fellows were able to forge new friendships, creating unbreakable bonds for life. We are incredibly honored to have hosted these amazing fellows in Taiwan and trust that they will become the future leaders to make a more sustainable world!
