A unique immersive experience

GOH has drawn from the sex eduacation experience of several South Korean non-profit women’s groups increating the distinctive “Mirror Room” and “Uterine Chamber”, projects which symbolised the notions of “looking after oneself” and “returning to the womb”. The Mirror Room encases the viewer in mirrors, allowing them to view themselves from all angles. The Uterine Chamber is made from red cloth in an effort to recreate the image of the uterus. When you stand inside, it is as if you have returned to your mother’s womb. Alongside the physiological structure and fertility related audio-visual media, the chamber becomes a complete immersive experience.

We believe that the sooner a child learns about gender and sexuality, the greater help it will be in preventing gender-based violence from happening in the first place.
