The CESD strives to bring democratic change to the Middle East and North Africa. Demonstrating a commitment to social justice through investigative journalism and human rights implementation, the organization prepares reports on human rights and advocacy for activists and governmental organizations; promotes gender equality in the Middle East; and provides training in governance, social and cultural rights, women’s and children’s rights, and sustainability.
