Multiple Discrimination and Gender Violence Prevention Center

GOH has discovered, that many victims of gender-based violence are faced with multiple discrimination due to their gender, age, identity, and physical and mental conditions. This can lead to physical and psychological trauma, affect their daily life and rights, and make it hard for them to access support when needed. Victims of gender-based violence who experience multiple discrimination, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, do not just need the help of professional organizations/individuals and resources that provide medium/long-term assistance; they also require backing in the realms of the law, policy, and social advocacy in order to truly heal their wounds and rebuild their lives.

Consequently, in 2019, GOH established the Multiple Discrimination and Gender Violence Prevention Center to serve victims of gender-based violence who face multiple discrimination.

We believe that every gender should be treated with kindness and respect.
