Migrants

With government’s new policies and demographic changes, over 750,000 people are temporarily moving to Taiwan for work or study. The Garden of Hope Foundation (GOH) is dedicated to serving individuals regardless of nationality. Since 2011, we have been addressing the needs of women migrant workers and their children in various circumstances, and providing interrogation escort services for human trafficking victims.

In 2020, “GOH-Migrants,” was launched as the Garden of Hope Foundation’s migrant service center. Our center extends support to foreign women, children, and international students, offering resources tailored to their specific needs. In 2022, we introduced Wo_Space (Integrated Service Center for Migrant Women and Children) to support pregnant migrant women through consultations, shelter, case management, and more, ensuring safe housing.

GOH-Migrants aims to create a supportive platform for migrants in Taiwan. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between Taiwanese society and the migrant community, protecting the rights of migrants, particularly foreign workers and international students, and fostering social inclusion and cultural tolerance. Our efforts are directed towards advancing a society characterized by diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Together, we are committed to building a future where every individual, regardless of their background, can thrive and contribute to a more inclusive society. GOH-Migrants continues to work tirelessly to ensure that all migrants in Taiwan feel supported, respected, and valued.
