The Asia Network of Women’s Shelters (ANWS) and The Garden of Hope Foundation (GOH) held a workshop in Nepal on May 5-6, 2016, at Tewa in partnership with We at Saathi Nepal. Participants from Taiwan, Nepal, Singapore, Japan, India, and Malaysia learned about shelter management, network cooperation, shelter service strategies, and intervention methodology.

At the ANWS Workshop in Nepal, delegates discussed social worker training, multicultural awareness, cross-sectoral network support, family intervention, and other issues related to shelter management. The event was organized by ANWS through GOH and We at Saathi Nepal.

After the training, attendees visited local shelters, which are run brilliantly by We at Saathi Nepal and Apeiron in Nepal.
