On July 29th, the Garden of Hope Foundation (GoH) held the whole-day event—‘Power Camp’ for girls to learn how to tell their own story. We have prepared the camp with the most talented professionals and hope they really ‘POWER UP’ our girls. 

In the morning, Miss Sophia gave the girls the magical ABC structure: A-accident, B-belief, C-Consequence, which helped our girls to perfectly express their stories within 3-mins! Mastering the story-telling skill could help girls to better express themselves, and they will never forget what STORY meant for them in the future.

Besides, thanks to our beautiful teachers from KISSME, they gave each girl a brand new look with such limited time. Turns out that it’s so easy to make people more confident with the right eyebrow shape.  

In the afternoon, Mr. Larry taught us great photo-taking skills and how to make eye-catching short films in a humorous way. We believe that you can make better use of social media to advocate for the issues you want to share with the world.  

After the exciting whole-day event, we believe that all participants have charged well and are ready to move on to ‘Girls Decide.’ It is expected to see the girls who have learnt more skills to express themselves well and to strive for their dreams. And GoH believes that empowering girls is empowering the world!
